The Dover Ladies Lifeboat Guild was the main fundraiser supporting Dover RNLI lifeboat for many years. In early 2006, the management structure changed within the RNLI and we became the Dover Lifeboat Fundraisers. This opened our fundraising group to both male and female members.

To support the RNLI and Dover's lifeboat, we run a shop, selling souvenirs items and toys, sweatshirts, sweets and biscuits, and at year end Christmas cards and calendars etc.

We try to open our shop as often as possible and also to attend as many local events as we can with our mobile caravan shop or portable stall. Coffee mornings and other functions are arranged at the lifeboat station and other venues..

The lifeboat crew also provide support, working as a team, to give assistance to us with our events and fundraising opportunities.

We have a lot of enjoyment supporting our lifeboat and its crew with a range of activities and social events. We have an excellent team spirit but would like to do more and therefore are seeking to recruit more helpers. Our helpers choose for themselves how much time they can give.

If you feel you can spare some time for a very worthy cause, please contact BAS on for more information.
