Motor boat with suspected engine fire. Towed to Dover by lifeboat where it was met by Fire crews from Kent Fire and Rescue Service. Fire fighters in breathing apparatus boarded vessel to investigate engine room.

Disabled yacht just off Folkestone towed to Dover.

Lifeboat diverted from Folkestone Raft Race to a broken down fishing vessel 3 miles off Folkestone. The vessel was towed to Dover.

Windsurfer believed to be in distress near Folkestone. Lifeboat launched but stood down within seconds of leaving berth as windsurfer had made it to shore. Crew then requested to be at immediate readiness by HM Coastguard as the windsurfer had returned to the water. Finally stood down after another ten minutes.
